One of the Furies mentioned in Greek Mythology, she has the body of a human, the head of a wolf and wings of a bat. She is responsible for pestilence, war and revenge. Like all furies she was born from the drops of blood from Uranus the Titan when Zeus castrated him. Her name means ‘the Unceasing One.’
