The tapir child born from a jaguar and a woman. A story tells of how the caterpillar mother of the jaguar tried to murder the jaguar’s wife by telling her deadly jokes that kill when laughed at. The women held in her laughter so much that she burst. A falcon came and pecked the caterpillar to death. When the jaguar came home he slit open his dead wife’s belly to give birth to Bakororo. In some ceremonies people who can imitate animals well are called Bakororo.
