The heroic Centaur of Greek myth. He is the child of Cronos the primordial god and of the Nymph Philrya while she was emanating as a horse. He was known as a tutor teaching education, law and medicine. He taught many heroes and gods such as Aesculapius, Peleus, Theseus Jason and Apollo. He is seen adorned with a cloak of stars, with a dog by his side and holds an uprooted tree that holds his hunting prizes.
