Spirits of the British Isles that distorted conversations and overhead everything that was said. One story tells of a Welsh King Lludd who travelled across the English channel to talk to his brother King Llefelys of France. When their boats met they spoke thorough horns but the Coranyeidd hid in the horn and changed the sounds so that the brother only heard insults. Llefelys purged the spirits out of his horn by pouring wine into it. He then advised his brother to pour crushed insects into the British water supply to rid the land of the Coranyeidd.
