A powerful hunting spider in the traditions of Andamanese Islanders in the Bay of Bengal. He was created by the god Biliku and while on Earth he shot things at random asking what their names were. He shot a Yam and a block of resin that eventually said that their names were Gono and Tug respectively. Tug asked to be carried with him and later Da Tengat roasted the Yam under the fire lit from the resin. He then killed a Cicada to eat and the first night descended. Animals sang in the mourning of the Cicadas and Da Tengat taught his followers how to make torches which when done created dawn again. Thus day and night were created. The people still believe that dancing in the night causes the sun to rise again.
