A Dwarf from the myths of the Norse. His name translates as ‘Door Keeper’. He guards a special stone from which lies a portal that leads to the chambers of the great god Odin. A King named Swegde travelled to this stone in hope of gaining entry to the realm of the gods. Durnir eventually let him through, but King Swegde soon found that he had entered into the chambers of a vicious Frost Giant called Sokmime and was never seen again.
