These were fabulous creatures from Africa. They were documented by the ancient Greeks as a creature that had a tough red hide of which no weapons could penetrate. They were able to rotate their horns like they would with their ears. They were twice the size of a normal bull from Greece and were predacious animals. It is said to have the speed of a horse, the courage of a lion, the strength of a bull and the toughness of iron. The local people of this beast would dig deep ditches to capture and kill the creature. The bull would frequently eat the livestock of farmers.
