A Giant of Britain that walks the countryside in search for farm animals to eat. He has a curved thigh which suggests he may be linked to the Celtic god Bran who is known as ‘Pierced Thigh’ or the ‘Wounded King’ in tales of Arthur. The monster and word ‘gargantuan’ come from this beast.
