A Giant form the genealogy constructed by Francois Rabelais (1494 – 1553) in his literary work, Pantagruel. Gayoffe does not appear in the original edition but is added much later. Gemmagog invented the pointed toe style of shoes and is apart of an ancestry of Giants along with Etion, Eryx, Gabbara, Gayoffe and Morguan.
