A horse known for its incredible speed. It name means ‘Golden Horse’ and was the mount of the Giant Hrungnir. Hrungnir challenged the god Odin to a race. Odin won the race on his horse Sleipnir. Gullfaxi was so fast that when it stopped it was in the land of the gods known as Asgard. Thor killed Hrungnir in single combat for trespassing and gave Gullfaxi to his three year old son.
