The cow goddess of Egyptian mythology that gave birth to the sun god Ra. She depicts the power women can have over nature and nourishes people with her milk. Hathor is also seen as ‘the seven Hathors’, which watch over the fates of man like the Moirae/ Fates. They are depicted as seven cows and a bull. The names of these are ‘Sky-Storm’, ‘Bright-Red’, Red Hair’, ‘Universal Lady’, ‘She from Khemmis’, She Whose Name Lives Through Skill’, and ‘She from the Land of Silence’.
