A magical goat in Norse mythology that gives out clear mead from its udders and eats the leaves of the tree Laerathr. It gives its mead to the Einherjar the sprits of heroic warriors who have been slain in battle. In one story the Giant Hyndla accuses the goddess Freya of being a Heiddreun.
