An enormous ox from the tales of the Norse. He was owned by Hymir but late killed by the thunder god Thor. Thor used the head of Himinhrjotr as a bait for fishing in contest he had with a Frost Giant, Hymir. As a result the great Sea Serpent Jorgmunder, grabbed the head of Himinhrjotr. Thor tried to reel him in until the serpent rose its head above the waters. In fear the Hymir jumped over board and Thor paddled away as quickly as he could.
