Mysterious murdering monsters of the Arctic Circle. The name Ikuutayuq means ‘The One Who Drills’ and is a female monster who with her brother captures victims. They bring them to a ritual circle of pillars of ice where the nameless brother holds them down while the other drills holes in their bodies until they die. The bodies of these victims are buried under the pillars of ice. It is said that ancient hero of the First People killed Ikuutayuq, whose brother fled and was never seen again.
