An Aztec goddess that has the form of a butterfly. She is the root soul that all forms share. Sometimes she is depicted as a deer where she is the goddess of agriculture. She is associated with the god Itzlacoliohqui who symbolises the lifeless state of phenomena and Tezcatlipoca who represents the spark of life.
