This is a sea monster of the aboriginal people of Australia. Some say that it is half fish half man while others say that it is an enormous beast. Some say that there is only one Muljewang while others say that there are many of them. What is agreed is that the beast lives in the Murray River in south Australia. It creates large footprints and hides by using seaweed as a camouflage. It is said that the beast should be avoided at all costs. It has been reported to have destroyed fishing nets of those people that have wandered into its territory. Stories of them are used to scare misbehaved and adventurous children so that they do not swim to far into the very deep river. Although some believe in its existence, elders of communities state that the beast became extinct a long time ago.
