From Italy, this beast had the body of a woman with one arm like the trunk of and elephant with deformed legs. One leg was that of a cow and the other of an eagle. It had the head of a donkey with an image of a bearded man on the back. Its tail was a snake. This beast lived in the Tiber River, Germany in the flood of 1496. Martin Luther (1483 - 1546) the reformer used the creature in 1523 to call derision of the corruption for the papacy.
