A enormous fish creature born from Gaia and Typhon. Some sources say that he was born from Pontus and Terra. He had the body of a fish but the head of a boar with tusks. He was the consort of Ceto who was the grandmother of the Dragon of Ladon and Prometheus. This beast was responsible for the many deaths at sea.
Porcus is also the name of a Giant. This Giant is an ancestor of Pantagruel from the book of the same name. A Giant from medieval times found in the works of the Pantagruel (1532) by Francois Rabelais (1494 - 1553).
