A Giant from the legends of Greece and Rome. He was a Giant Merman who lived in the oceans and served the sea god Poseidon/ Neptune. It is said that Proteus would announce correct prophesies but to ask him what the future held you had to find him first. This was difficult as Proteus remained elusive and could change his appearance to evade people. Once a group of men searching for answers found Proteus’ daughter, Eldothea who told them that Proteus could be found sleeping on the island Pharos. With this information they were successfully able to track down Proteus and gain the information they needed.
