A terrible female Djinn or Demon from the myths of Morocco. She is usually seen in the form of an attractive young lady although she is known to shape-shift. She was once the goddess of love but fell from grace to become an enticing sinister woman. She lures young naive men into the springs and rivers that she inhabits. Those that do are never seen again. During the summer solstice in one area of Morocco sacrifices and offerings were made to her to keep her at bay.
