A Giant from medieval times found in the works of the Pantagruel (1532) by Francois Rabelais (1494 - 1553). Quaresmeprenant only appears in later editions but is apart of an ancestry of Giants along with Etion, Eryx, Galehaut and Morguan. He is said to be less aggressive than the other Giants and a dim-witted being.
