A flying beast form the Mesopotamian and Persian myths. It has a number of different appearances. Sometimes it has the body of an ox with the wings of and eagle and head of a dog. At other times it a winged dog, and also with the head and paws of a dog on the body and wings of a bird. It sleeps upside down like a bat in the soma tree- the magical tree from which all plant life has grown from. When they land on the soma tree, they cause seeds to fall which land on Earth and cause more trees to grow. These seeds are collected by a dog called Chamrosh.
