Similar to the Satyr of Greek mythology. The Silen have the face of a goat, the body of a human but the lower-half is of a horse. They have the ears of horse. The leader of the Silen is Silenus. Once the King Midas of Lydia captured a Silen by offering him some wine. He then asked what was true happiness. The Silen replied that life is suffering and that it is best to die young so one can be in the Otherworld.
