A golden ram of the tales of the Khoi people of Namibia. A hunter called Giri once stumbled upon this golden ram and was amazed at its colour. He shot the creature and took some meat from it. On his way home he became extremely thirsty but whenever he found water it would dry up. He sought the advise of a wise man who said that he had killed a magical beast. To remove his curse the wise man instructed Giri to find some meat and put it back into the corpse of the golden ram and pray for its resurrection. Giri did so and Sore-Gus came back to life and all the waters flowed back again.
