The ancient Egyptian goddess who is the wife of Set. She has the body of a human and the head of a hippopotami. Sometimes she is depicted as having the body of a hippopotami but with human arms and legs. She is the matron of women in childbirth and wears an emblem that is a rolled up papyrus paper known as ‘sa’. She uses the ‘sa’ to help shepherds with their flocks.
