A Giant who was the leader of the Germanic tribe, the Tuyscones. His territory reached from the present day Rhine to the coast of Hamburg and Arnhem in Belgium. He features in the historical documents of the Italian monk writer Annius of Viterbo (Giovanni Nanni c. 1432 1502). According to him, this Germanic king ruled parts of Italy and was a part of a genealogy that linked the Biblical race of Giants to the Gaulish kings and then the Italian nobility. Jean Tixier de Ravisy (alias Ravisius Textor c. 1480 1524) in his Officina states that this Giant was actually the son of Noah whose grandson Mannus, ruled the German region. Jean Tixier de Ravisy uses the Biblical Giants to justify that the Gaulish kings came from the primordial Giants.
